Betrayed - House 2 Night of the book by PC Cast and Kristin Cast

"Marked", the first book of the "House of Night" series reeled me, hook, line and sinker. I liked it. I was eager to read "Betrayal" and hoped that it would be equally good. I was not disappointed. PC Cast and Kristin Cast creates a great follow-up that starts exactly where to stay "marked".

Zoey Redbird, a young vampire begins to feel as if it really suits the House of Night Academy. It 'did in school. He has friends - and a friend or two.Of course, Aphrodite is still their biggest rival in the school, but Zoey has more important things to think about. She is now the new leader of the Dark Daughters, an elite clique who are trying to change it. Their power has increased and is highlighted as a particular by the goddess Nyx Vampyre, which has left its mark with a unique character. But things go wrong when human teenagers, children, Zoey knew who killed and bled. All signs point to the vampires and the House of Night withAuthors. To make things Zoey confronts the betrayal by someone who is close to her, that could change everything.

Typically, the young vampire in this series is a stand out. The premise is refreshingly original and vampires are unique. Zoey is a heroine and strong young man who grew up in personality and abilities. The secondary characters are well developed. This book is darker, sexier and more emotional than the first. The conflicts are more intense and complex andAction has some interesting details. You can read them as separate, but it works better if you start with "are marked. The questions remain, you must book the count of three.
