This book explains alot about Charles Bukowski's youth and gives explanation to his cynical ( or is it truthful?) view of life. I believe this book is mainly auto- biographical and it deals with his relationship with his cruel father, his terrible case of acne and his life as a young man up until his early twenties. I would not say it is Bukowskis best work (I prefer his short stories), however this book has a sense of completeness and cohesiveness which is not always present in his other work. This book could be a very good introduction to Bukowski's work as it is very readable and enjoyable.

Tips for writing text of Teen
First, "young people must realize that" covers a broad spectrum of age and maturity. We have the "tweens", also called juvenile delinquency which covers the early years, the age of about twelve to fourteen or fifteen, perhaps. Young adults between the ages of fourteen covers, the most mature at nineteen and twenty years.
The different phases require different levels of the object, but all books for adolescents should be interesting well writtenArguments.
The first suggestion I have is to write from inside the mind of a teenager at the age of your audience. Meet a young age, you want to read your stories and books. You really listen and hear. Young people want to encourage discussion, engaging literature. Adolescents of all ages, need 'characters logical behavior. They want well-written essays and fiction. Eric Burdsall Market Writer's & Illustrator's Children, wrote: "... thinkingwriting for adults, but about experiences and situations that are important or interesting for young people. "
The second proposal to avoid clichés. the jockey is dumb and nerdy girls always involved a romantic cliche, such as athletes and cheerleaders pretty strong but stupid. Characters are three dimensional and not flat. You need to show different layers of personality and character traits.
Must be in writing levels are related to young people on their own, withoutPatronizing or condescending. Writers should avoid superficial and trivial stories, essays, articles, or novels. Young people have souls and know how to use them.
Many authors believe that everything must be written for a teen dark and sad. This idea is wrong. Yes, the stories have depth and meaning. Those older adolescents, the violence of war and dating relationships, even drugs, sex and abuse, but treated with honesty about the maturity of the readers. However, Teens, as every player needs humor. A writer can illuminate and give pleasure with his words.
What about love stories for young people of all ages? Believe it or not, the erogenous zone is between the ears. graphic details are not necessary when an author knows how to focus the scene, as the excitement of writing romance.Eileen Goudge in September of 2007 the writer, who wrote the love scenes need to provide an explicit set. "What they doThe question is too rich in emotions in a way to set the mood and resonance with the reader. "
One last tip: just because the world around young people, taking action, full of vulgar language and ideas does not mean that an author must increase the level of fiction in his stories, essays, poems, o.
The most important thing an author writing for children are to write a good novel, history, essays, articles.

The World's Strongest Kid
Richard Sandrak child is strongest in the world. It 'was born in Ukraine. Until he was 11, was able to lift twice his weight. This is impressive, and something unusual. I've seen pictures of Richard and is a fine example of a boy, but his muscles are well developed.
You could say they are "over-developed? His father, Pavel Sandrak was a fitness enthusiast. In fact, he was a martial arts champion and his mother, Lena, was a major competitor inAerobics. Obviously had an input in the formation of Richard and noticed his interest and potential. Richard wanted to be martial arts and bodybuilding for some time, but until the age of eight years was the potential to become a strong boy.
This "little Hercules" was known as the world's strongest boy. What we do not know is how the world's strongest boy - what is it that its development was the guy who did? If the development of this bodybecause of general education? Or was there another kind of strange, inputs? We know that many bodybuilders take additional vitamins, minerals, proteins - but also steroids. If this is the case of Richard's development? If so, and we will never know, I'm sure, we should be very worried about his future.
sports doctors do not recommend the use of a steroid, such as aerobics, can cause long-term damage and other problems. Richard, strongest guy in the world, butCould, if not careful, the Sickest be.

Empowering teens - boys and a couple of ideas on a new book
Role of youth
From a new book: "Adolescence is a difficult time for both adults and emerging economies for him / her. Intellectual growth, sexual awareness, quantum physical growth and the need for increasing independence are all expected and natural models. We recognize these patterns and empower the poor, the young adults to address growth in a healthy and productive. ... This is not utopia, it is accessible with understanding and openCommunication.
I'll give you an important note: always understand what my colleagues think of your child and his action is a consideration all too important for the child. Maybe not as peer reviews are justified, but they are terribly important for the child. We did the best job to allow our children to do .... earned them the space and respect that they expected and the same in return. "
A new book, "Empowering Children" is a powerful tool forParents and others interested in childcare at the height of their individual potential. The vulnerability of children in today's world is finally revealed, with camera angles on Internet threats, child abuse, sexual predators, domestic violence and issues of ecology. Parent and family roles are discussed. There is a chapter author on hundreds of motivational talks in class. Then a trip around the world, examining the accountability needs of children in desperateThe conditions and circumstances for the better.
Some observations of children:
"I wish they all were so stimulating and open as you."
"I thought my life was cruddy ... thanks for coming to our class, I know I can do something great with my life."
"I guess you are talking. I think it's really cool how you try to help young people."
"Changed, I thought of things and helped me open myeyes. "

Like the first book in the Vladimir Tod series, I loved this book. It's the second book. Vlad is a teenage half vampire, his mother was human, his father a vampire. His best friend is his drudge due to an accidental biting when Vlad was 8 years old. Like all unpopular teenagers, he's got a crush on the prettiest girl in school and is harassed by bullies on a daily basis.
In this book Vlad has made a new friend, Henry's cousin, Joss. There's also trouble in town, a vampire slayer has come. He's been hired to hunt down Vlad and kill him. But who's the slayer? You won't find out until close to the end, keeping the suspense up. Vlad will also travel with this uncle to Siberia to learn a few things about mind control and he discovers along the way he's the Pravus; a legendary vampire who up until now was only a myth.
Friendships will be tested and feelings will be hurt. Vlad will have to make choices with his new powers as to whether he's going to do good or follow the myth of the Pravus. I was very saddened to find out who the slayer is and felt for Vlad in this book. He just wants to be normal. What I don't understand though is why does Otis insist on paper letters? With the internet and cells phones, etc why use snail mail?
Like the first book, it's a page turner and the characters are great. This is a good read for teens and adults. Can't wait to read the next one.
